The UC Santa Barbara Alumni Association is launching a traditions project to commemorate the university’s rich history and record current and future traditions as they ensue. 
This project aims to introduce future students to the university’s deep roots, while honoring the alumni’s past experiences. The hope is that by creating more awareness of the university’s traditions and historical path, a stronger sense of pride and community will develop. We believe that pride in a university and campus community is an essential part of a student’s experience. We know that as many move on from UC Santa Barbara, the memories of their college days will grow a little gray. Yet no matter how far they travel, we hope that the traditions project can serve as a nostalgic look back at their college years.
While we have already constructed a list of some traditions and campus landmarks, we need your help in personalizing and extending the list! Please take the time to fill out a quick questionnaire about your experience at UC Santa Barbara. All opinions are welcome and greatly appreciated.
